Courtney (she/her/they)

Hello lovelies, I am a (trans)Woman who is still in the process of discovering herself!

I have been working up the courage to be who I am for so long, I am excited to be figuring things out.

Pre-HRT, pre-fashion-sense, and pre-confidence.

Any and all tips and advice from more experienced women are welcome!

  • The “abortion is murder” crowd is against it up until it personally affects them.

I once had to dodge a punch because in an argument with someone I used to go to church with as a child, I brought up his own daughters getting pregnant as teens and him taking them 3 states over to get abortions.

Apparently “that’s different and you know it”

Besides, who gives a shit whether their logic is internally consistent when they can just ask sky daddy to forgive them and they’ll get into heaven no matter how many (according to them) babies they murder.

  • Is it logically equivalent? I mean they both drain their host, they both require a host to survive, and usually one dies when removed from the host.

Are conservative Christians going to care? Of course not because NO ARGUMENT WILL EVER BE ENOUGH for them. They believe a sky fairy will save them from eternal suffering that the same sky fairy sends them to for not believing hard enough that sky fairy exists. Logic isn’t important to them.

  • I’ve seen a lot of garden size machines you can build essentially out of rc and 3d printer parts, hook up to a Pi and run open source software to automate things like watering and even weed plucking if you’ve got pattern recognition and cameras on the machines.

I often wonder how feasible it would be to simply scale it up to a large field. Im absolutely sure it’s done now commercially, but I’m thinking more like “it’s 5-10 years post collapse and you’re scavenging stuff to make it happen in a large field to feed 50 people”
