      Right? I don’t directly fire people but I am someone who has the delightful task of giving verbal warnings and write-ups that lead to firings, and doing so always sucks ass even though it’s warranted.

        I’ve “been in the know” when someone’s getting fired and it’s horrible to interact with them and try to act like everything is alright knowing they’re about to be given bad news. The good news is what we do is communicable to other jobs and they can do the same thing down the street
