The regex users are all alphabetical, but the precise ones are not, so who knows. I don’t know how/when they decide to use regex.

I think they just mean if their history was maintained.

Yeah, I’m assuming I’m there because I’ve said I’m Anarchist, explained what Anarchism is, or because I said bad things about Zionists. I wish it told us why we were there, but I guess we just have to accept that we were good enough people to be there at all.

Tesseract, a Lemmy frontend, has a ban list for an absurd number of instances and users. Sadly, you haven’t made the list (yet). You still have to prove yourself.

I’m on the list too! Congratulations! We’ve made it! I think there needs to be some tool to have a model or something next to the name of anyone blocked by the list. If you aren’t on the list then you’ve got some work to do.

Have you confused anti-consumer (doing something that harms people buying goods and services) with anti-consumerist (being against the buying and selling of goods and services)? Lemmy is not anti-consumer. It’s the opposite almost always. It is frequently anti-capitalist or anti-consumerist though. These are not the same thing.

I still don’t understand. What thing did people start being anti-consumer with? You didn’t explain that.
Linux@lemmy.ml•Bazzite sees a massive jolt in installs in late June and early July, catapulting it to over 86k active devices. It has doubled the number of active devices since November.byCethin@lemmy.zipEnglish
6 daysI honestly think the kid example is a counter example. Kids now don’t understand technology, because we try to keep them so far away from how it actually works. I’m very technologically literate because I was messing around with my system as a kid.
It’s the same as how older generations can take apart an engine, and most people now can’t even change their own oil. We try to “protect” users from the technology, and they never learn how it works. No, they should be given access to break it. That’s how you learn how it functions.

Sure, but I don’t have any alts, and I got a regex block. This is the only Lemmy account I’ve ever had.
